UI students: Welcome to campus and Hancher! The performing arts are central to the University of Iowa experience, and our Hancher is for Hawkeyes sale offers our students deeply discounted tickets to amazing performances!
Our annual Hancher is for Hawkeyes sale offers UI students deep discounts on many upcoming Hancher performances! Discounted tickets will be available from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. from the Hancher Box Office on Thursday, August 28. The sale continues online until Tuesday, September 2, at 11:59 p.m. You can also call or stop into the box office between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29 and Tuesday, September 2. The box office will be closed over the weekend and on Labor Day.
Hancher is for Hawkeyes ticket sale dates:
Thursday, August 28 / 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (in person/online)
Friday, August 29 / 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (in person/by phone/online)
Saturday, August 30 through Monday, September 1 (online only)
Tuesday, September 2 (in person/by phone/online); online sales end at 11:59
Beginning on Thursday, August 28, at 5:00 p.m., you can purchase $5 tickets to many Hancher events and get 50% off select Broadway single tickets by visiting or calling the Hancher Box Office during the hours listed above. The box office will remain open until 10:00 p.m. on August 28 so that you can take advantage of the sale while attending the free, outdoor Fall Welcome Concert that evening. The box office will remain open during its regular hours on Friday, August 29 and Tuesday, September 2, but will be closed over the weekend and on Labor Day.
The Hancher is for Hawkeyes discounts will be available online until Tuesday, September 2, at 11:59 p.m. Use code 4HAWKEYES to get the discount. Student IDs may be required at time of ticket purchase or admission.
