GOOD THINGS: An Evening with Samin Nosrat
Celebrating her new book, Good Things
Samin Nosrat, champion of the home cook, connects food and community with her new book GOOD THINGS.
Spend an uplifting evening with Samin Nosrat as she discusses her new book, Good Things: Recipes and Rituals to Share with People You Love–the eagerly awaited follow-up to Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat, scheduled to release in September 2025. Samin will share stories around the inspiration for the cookbook, her development and selection of the recipes, and the culinary rituals she shares with close friends. In an evening about creativity and connection, Samin will remind us how cooking can not only nourish our bodies but also satiate our desire for kinship and community.
Samin will be in conversation with Carmen Maria Machado. Samin and Carmen have been long-distance fans of one another’s work for many years, and look forward to finally sharing a room and conversation with one another!
"Samin Nosrat is joy personified. The happiness that the chef, made famous by her cookbook-turned-hit Netflix show Salt Fat Acid Heat, derives from food is evident" – Elle Magazine
