Sun Ra Arkestra has been at the forefront of exploring new horizons in creative music and inspiring the ever-evolving tenets of Afrofuturism. Opening act Theon Cross has reinvented the tuba as the low-voiced leader of innovative and explosive—and hard to define—ensembles.
