Steven Schick will explore the music of John Luther Adams and the ways contemporary music engages the natural world and works to raise climate-consciousness. Excerpts from John Luther Adams’s Songbird Songs will be interspersed throughout the conversation and will set the stage for a 15th anniversary performance of Adams’ Inuksuit.
