A message from André: Getting ready for Hancher’s 51st season.
The 2023–2024 Hancher season will bring new energy, new ideas, and new ways to engage with the performing arts on the University of Iowa campus and in the community. Here’s what you can expect over the next few months.
Wednesday, April 12 – Hancher’s new Broadway subscription series is announced!
We will announce four hit Broadway shows—and a subscription package that will offer a significant discount.
- Hancher donor on-sale period: April 17 to April 28
- Public on-sale: Monday, May 1
- Single tickets for Broadway shows will go on sale in July with the full Hancher season.
Wednesday, June 14 – First details of Infinite Dream, Hancher’s new festival, are announced!
Wednesday, July 12 – Hancher’s full 2023–2024 season is announced!
We will share our lineup of brilliant and diverse artists who will perform on Hancher’s stages (including in some new configurations) and in other performance sites on campus and in the community. Many of these artists will also engage with University of Iowa students—as well as with faculty, staff, K-12 students, and community members—in creative, meaningful ways.
- Hancher donor on-sale period: July 17 to July 28
- Public on-sale: Monday, July 31
