NOTE: This event is past but this page includes post-performance material you may enjoy.

Hancher Auditorium has long been known as “the largest classroom on campus,” and we have been proving that this semester as students and faculty from the UI Department of Dance and School of Music have transformed our performance spaces into inspiring places to learn and teach their craft.

We want to celebrate this collaboration! We asked our friends from Quixotic, the amazing organization that helped us open the auditorium in 2016, to design a magical array of spots outside Hancher where UI student performers could be highlighted. The result is going to be unlike anything we have presented before!

Please note: All attendees must wear face coverings throughout the event and maintain social distance. We are committed to your health—and to offering you an evening of delights!

The project is supported, in part, by the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
