Lost in the woods after wandering from home, siblings Hänsel and Gretel encounter a mysterious cottage filled with tempting treats—and a witch with sinister intentions. Engelbert Humperdinck's beloved opera transforms the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale into a lush, magical adventure featuring unforgettable melodies and soaring choruses. Performed in German, this production explores the enduring tale through a haunting new lens while featuring a new chamber orchestration by University of Iowa alumnus Sangguen Choi.

- The Coralville Center for the Performing Arts is located in Plaza on 5th at the corner of 5th Street and 12th Avenue. Free parking is available at street level and underground in the Town Center Parking Facility adjacent to the CCPA and the Coralville Public Library.
Free street parking is also available throughout the Town Center District.
- Entrances: When parking street level on the North side, enter through the North Entrance. If parking underground, looks for the door marked "Plaza Entrance."
When parking elsewhere in the Town Center, it may be easier to enter through the doors at the corner of 5th St and 12th Avenue. These doors are only unlocked during events.
