Hoba Hoba Spirit
Tickets sales at the door are available on site at CSPS Hall beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Hoba Hoba Spirit calls its fusion music “Hayha,” but you might call it “Moroccan-roll.” Blending rock, reggae, and Gnawa (African Islamic spiritual songs), the band sings in the Arabic dialect Darija, French, and English, reflecting the hopes and concerns of young Moroccans.

Residency Events
<p>Hoba Hoba Spirit will be in residence for a week in Iowa City, talking to a number of university classes, visiting the Wednesday night Farmers Market, and experiencing cultural life in Iowa City.</p>
