Bruce Hornsby is an iconic and endlessly original musician.
Based out of Williamsburg, Virginia, Hornsby first rose to national prominence with The Way It Is, his 1986 Grammy-winning debut album with The Range. In 1991 Hornsby collaborated with Bonnie Raitt, playing on her iconic hit “I Can’t Make You Love Me.” Additionally, Hornsby was a part-time member of the Grateful Dead from September 1990 to March 1992, performing over 100 concerts in America and Europe. The 13-time Grammy nominee has appeared on over 100 records including releases with Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks, Willie Nelson, and more. His performances will feature material from throughout Hornsby’s storied career, in addition to new music from his new album, Indigo Park.

- Two soundproof observation booths are available on the parterre level for guests who do not wish to disturb others with a cough or any other distractions.
- Photos and video inside the auditorium are prohibited.
- Parking: The Hancher lot can be accessed from both Park Road and Riverside Drive. Click the button below to view a detailed, interactive map.
- Entrances: The main entrance to Hancher Auditorium is located at the south end of the building and near the accessible parking lot on the building’s west side.
- Preorder food from the Stanley Café!
Avoid the lines by making your food selections before you come to Hancher Auditorium. Most entrées are only available through pre-order and cannot be purchased on-site at the performance.
Snacks and beverages will be available on-site.
- For those wishing to dine at Hancher prior to the performance there will be snacks available onsite.
- Beverages purchased from the Smith Lobby Bar can only be taken into the auditorium in a Hancher Season Cup which can be purchased from any concession location, the Hancher Box Office, or in the Hancher Showcase. Cups are $5.00 and reusable.
- Snacks are available from the Smith Lobby Bar 90 minutes prior to the performance. Food is not allowed in the auditorium.
- Hancher bars do not accept cash. American Express, Visa, Discover, MasterCard, Google Pay, and Apple Pay are all accepted.
