A collaboration with the University of Iowa College of Law

Van Jones is the president and founder of Dream Corps, a justice incubator with an overarching goal to close prison doors and open doors of opportunity. A Yale-educated attorney, author of three New York Times nonfiction bestsellers, and a CNN contributor, Jones worked as the green jobs adviser to the Obama White House, overseeing $80 billion in green energy recovery spending. He’s collected honors from Rolling Stone, Fast Company, and Time, the last of which named him among the 100 Most Influential People in the World.

This lecture will feature an American Sign Language interpreter. Audio Description is also available if requested in advance.
