The Claudettes

A collaboration with The Mill

Blues Music Magazine says The Claudettes are “like Keith Moon chasing a crazed, punked up Little Richard,” while Caught in the Carousel believes the duo is “like a ragtime White Stripes.” The Claudettes themselves—pianist Johnny Iguana and drummer Michael Caskey—might suggest the band’s sound is an amped-up hybrid of Otis Spann, Ray Charles, and Mose Allison. But in the end, comparisons fail. You’ve never seen or heard an instrumental duo like this.

Join us for a free concert at The Mill on September 16. Then hear the band again as they provide music for Lucky Plush Production’s The Queue on September 17 and 18 in Space Place Theater.
